‘Below The Belt’ screening presented by Endo Articles

Sydney's first screening of 'Below the Belt' (www.belowthebelt.film), brought to you by Endo Articles, was a momentous occasion. An inspiring documentary, executive produced by Hillary Clinton, told the heart-wrenching and enlightening stories of four patients who sought answers to mysterious symptoms. 'Below the Belt' laid bare the problems in our healthcare systems, highlighting how those with endo were often dismissed, discounted, and disbelieved, affecting 1 in 9.

The event was held at the famous Ritz Cinemas in Randwick. Each ticket purchase included a small popcorn and drink, along with a complimentary gift from our friends at The Fix. It also provided an opportunity to win fantastic prizes, including a trio set of gins from Four Pillars Gins, a full set of The Fix products, Gingerlilly pyjamas, a game-changing Ailia Bottle, Kenwood Mixer, a $300 Etymon voucher valid at any of their restaurants, a series of goodies from Pernod Ricard and more!

Following the 60-minute film, a lively panel discussion engaged the audience. Audience interaction was encouraged, making it a unique opportunity to engage with healthcare experts, patients, and community advocates. Those living with endometriosis were especially welcome and encouraged to bring their family and friends, as the event aimed to increase awareness, understanding, compassion, and support within the community.

The screening brought together over 140 people within our community, including those without endometriosis. The evening was full of awareness raising and passionate conversations. We are so grateful to have been able to bring this film to Sydney and look forward to more awareness raising events.
