Wreath Making Masterclass

We wrapped up the year in the best way possible: making wreaths, hanging out, and doing good. Tess, our Events Lead volunteer, turned her floristry skills into a fun afternoon for all of our Endo Articles Members and friends. She brought along a bunch of stunning flowers, ribbons and scents, and showed us how to turn them into something magical.

The vibe was laid back and friendly, with Hudson's Bakery stepping up to provide GF snacks. It's amazing how much difference some good food and a few drinks can make to an afternoon of crafting. Everyone was chatting, laughing, and getting hands-on with their wreaths, making the whole experience feel more like a catch-up with friends than a formal event.

This wasn't just for fun, though. We were there with a mission: to raise funds for our Care and Comfort packs. These packs mean a lot to young people in hospital, and every wreath we made and every dollar we raised brought us closer to our goal of handing out 100 packs over the holiday season.

Saying goodbye to 2023 with this event felt just right. It summed up what we're all about: community, support, and making a difference where we can. Tess nailed it with this idea. Not only did we all leave with our handmade wreaths, but we also left feeling connected and happy about contributing to a cause close to our hearts.

As we look back on the year, it's events like these that stand out. They remind us why we do what we do and show us the strength of our community. Here's to ending the year on a high note and to whatever comes next.
